* Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation – nonprofit organization dedicated to being the valley’s parks and trail resource
* Revel Treks and Tours – Palmer-based guiding company with a year-round Adventure Club for locals
* Onward and Upward – nonprofit organization providing local adventure programs
* Mat-Su Ski Club – cross country skiing club based at Government Peak Recreation Area
* Skeetawk – nonprofit downhill ski facility in Hatcher Pass
* Alaska Avalanche School – nonprofit organization providing classes on avalanche awareness and safety.
* Hatcher Pass Avalanche Center – nonprofit organization providing avalanche information and advisories to assist and educate the general public in avoiding avalanches. HPAC provides avalanche information and advisories for the Hatcher Pass area in the Talkeetna Mountains of Alaska.
* Adventures by True North AK
* Palmer Curling Club – PCC, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2019 and consists of about 22 teams playing on two sheets at the MTA Center in Palmer.
* Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers – a recreational trail advocacy group based in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley region of Alaska. We are dedicated to increasing the quality and quantity of sustainable trails for hikers and mountain bikers throughout the Valley.
* Backcountry Bike and Ski – Palmer-based bike and ski shop.
* Willow Trail Committee & Willow Dog Mushers Association – Willow-based trail groups. Learn about Willow’s different trail systems.

Palmer Wills Clinic

ALSC staff and Community Justice Workers will draft wills and provide estate planning services at no charge for those 60+ years of age. Walk-ins welcome to receive advice and begin drafting. To have a will finalized please fill out a will questionnaire prior to the date of appointment.

Happy Feet Health Fair

Maple Springs of Palmer is hosting the annual Happy Feet Health Fair! At this event you will be able to receive free food, socks, shoes, bp/pulse screening, fingernail/toenail trimming, and see many vender booths!

Virtual Dementia Tour (In Person)

This in-person Virtual Dementia Tour will give you an up-close, hands-on experience and provides insight into what it is like for a person living with dementia to make it through the day. This experience will change the way you think, relate, and care for people living with dementia. It only takes 30 minutes to go through the tour. The Virtual Dementia Tour was developed by P.K. Beville of Second Wind Dreams.

LINKS 2nd Annual Resource Fair

LINKS Resource will be hosting our 2nd Annual Resource Fair at Iditapark. We will have many nonprofits organizations with tables, music presented by Valley Radio Q99.7, food vendors, face painting, games, prizes, and more. Come learn about the nonprofits in the community and have some fun. Everything is free except the food vendors.
