About

History

Connect Mat-Su was developed by the Mat-Su Health Foundation and community partners to be a comprehensive and innovative health and social services information and referral resource center serving all residents of Mat-Su. It is a network that is both a physical and virtual resource center linking residents with immediate access to the information, referrals, and direct assistance needed to thrive physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.

Connect Mat-Su Network

Connect Mat-Su serves as the hub for a network of community resource providers. We work together to populate and maintain a database with information on community resource providers and the services they offer. The hub partners consist of LINKS/ADRC, Help Me Grow, R.O.C.K Mat-Su and United Way Mat-Su. Together, each hub partner contributes to the resource database, ensuring that the resources housed in it are comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date.

Vision and Mission

Vision

A community where all residents have immediate access to the information, referrals, and direct assistance needed to thrive physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.

 Mission

Connect Mat-Su strives to become the connection between the community and its resources.

Your Connect Mat-Su Experience

At Connect Mat-Su you will interact with a local staff person, trained to provide information about and referral opportunities for Mat-Su specific resources. You can contact Connect Mat-Su by phone, email or in-person by appointment. The staff person gets to know your needs and provides resource information based on your individual circumstances, offering navigation assistance if desired, and will even provide a warm handoff to your chosen provider. At Connect Mat-Su, we don’t just provide a telephone number and address for the resource you need, we assist with establishing the connection.

Advisory Council

The Connect Mat-Su advisory council serves in an advisory capacity to guide program planning and execution. The steering council is composed of individuals representing various sectors, demographics, and locations within Mat-Su.
