Winter Coat Drive (Mat-Su Central)

Mat-Su Central Middle School Student Council invites you to share the warmth with those in need. Consider donating to our Winter Coat Drive, November 1- 30.
Clean, gently used coats, hats, gloves, and boots for all ages will be dispersed through Frontline Mission.
A donation drop box is located at Mat-Su Central School in the front office.

Holiday Pancake Breakfast

Breakfast $12.00 each or $30.00 for 3 or more. All proceeds go toward Five Loaves Two Fish Kitchen Ministries which provides meals to My House Teen Resource Center, Family Promise, Knik Houses, and others in need of nourishment.

Santa will visit 9:00- 10:30 a.m. Bring your camera and take photos with Santa Claus. Start your holiday shopping at the Silent Auction. Cookie decorating for kids. Bring the family and kick off the holiday season.

Halloween Hollow

Halloween Hollow is a fundraiser for Mat-Su Special Santa, this trick-or-treat event now in its 20th year, is fun for the whole family! With over 30 booths to collect candy and play games; this event offers a warm, and safe place to take the kids trick-or-treating! Admission is $6 a person, or 1 new toy, kids 2 and under are free. Online tickets are available for purchase starting on October 1st.

Wasilla 5K Community Run/Walk

Location: Wasilla High School 701 East Bogard Rd. Wasilla, AK

You are invited to the Warrior Soccer Booster Club’s first annual Warrior 5K Community Fundraiser! This will be a 5K Run/Walk race. The race will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 2pm.

All are welcome to take part in this event, so bring your whole crew! We are excited to bring a 5K to Wasilla this coming summer and hope to make this an annual event. $40 to register for the race. Participants will receive a Warrior 5K t-shirt, a custom bib, and a community swag bag. There are three categories: Ages 15 and under, 16-44, and 45+. The top 3 boys/men and girls/women in each category will receive a medal.

Joy of Freedom Festival

Location: Alaska State Fairgrounds, Purple Gate

The JOY of Freedom Festival is a family-friendly event to raise funds to fight human trafficking. Grammy-nominated IBMA award-winning band Special Consensus headlines two full days of live bluegrass music with a dozen local bands performing on stage with bluegrass jam sessions and workshops throughout the event. An Alaska State barbecue competition, local vendor market, and food truck rally along with a beer garden and a fun array of family-friendly activities will engage and delight guests of all ages as we gather to raise funds to fight human trafficking.

Your ticket purchase for one or both days of the event will support the work of JOY International, an international nonprofit fighting human trafficking in Alaska and around the world. One of our goals for this event is to raise enough funds to support the next level of development for a local safe home for minors in partnership with Home of Hope Alaska.

HeartReach’s annual 5k for Life is a FREE family-friendly 5k bike and walk/run. This year will include a Toddler Dash and Kid Zone! Snacks, water, and refreshments will be provided. Donations accepted. All funds raised go directly to the services of HeartReach Center.
