Wasilla 4th of July Parade

Wasilla’s 4th of July celebration on July 4, 2026, features a full day of festivities, kicking off with the annual downtown parade at 11:00 a.m. Following the parade, the action shifts to Iditarod Park for the free Mayor’s Picnic, featuring food, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Event Schedule & Details
• 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 4th of July Parade
o Location: Winds through downtown Wasilla.
o Details: Expect floats, marching bands, fire trucks, and local organizations.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Mayor’s Picnic
o Location: Iditarod Park Lawn (580 W Nelson Ave).
o Details: Enjoy free hot dogs, chips, drinks, and live entertainment.
• 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Music in the Park Finale
o Location: Iditarod Park.
o Details: Live bands, food trucks, and a beer garden run well into the evening.
