Inspired by Iceland: Youth Well-Being in the Mat-Su Valley

Youth 360 is thrilled to host our partner from Iceland, Dr. Alfgeir Kristjansson, for a community presentation on primary prevention, substance abuse prevention and positive youth development.
The event will be held on Thursday, September 1st from 3:30-5:00 pm at the Wasilla High School Theater (701 E. Bogard Rd., Wasilla). Attendees will learn about the amazing results of the Icelandic Prevention Model and its application around the world, including right here in the Mat-Su Valley. We also want to hear your thoughts on how to best support youth, and share info on resources and activities available to Valley youth.
Door prizes will be given, and on-site childcare is available, including activities for teens. Call Youth 360 at 373-3613 with any questions.
