This event is a vibrant community gathering that highlights the progress and resilience of Alaska’s Native
Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities. This year, we proudly celebrate three key milestones:
Completion of the Peau o le Vasa Study, a culturally grounded Diabetes Prevention Program in
partnership with the University of Hawai’i, Papa Ola Lōkahi; and the National Association of Pasifika
Organizations (NAOPO);
Completion of PCA’s Cultural Curriculum for its Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Program with the
support of Leadership Anchorage; and
End of AANHPI Heritage Month 2025, honoring the heritage and contributions of Asian American and
NHPI communities in Alaska and across the United States.
This celebration offers a moment to connect, reflect, and recognize the collective efforts driving change
and cultural preservation in our community. Please contact me at (347) 349-0881 or
