FREE Training- Heavy Equipment Operating

This 40-hour introductory training provides an introduction to apprenticeship and covers hands-on practice on heavy equipment including Hydraulic Excavators, dozers & Front-end loaders. Training includes how to conduct pre-operational 360° walk-around, control familiarization, basic equipment functions, basic operating techniques, and safety rules and practices.

Join our Mentored Potato Program, where each participant receives a dedicated 10’ x 10’ plot, seed potatoes, and personalized guidance throughout the growing season.

Alaska Family Services is currently offering Active Parenting Now parenting class. This is a 6-part class cohort series that is recommended for parents with child(ren) in the household ages 5 – 12 years old.
