Every mile completed helps ensure that seniors in our community receive nutritious meals and the caring connections that mean so much. \nThis year\, our goal is to raise $100\,000 to help sustain and expand our Meals on Wheels services. With rising food and delivery costs\, community support is more important than ever. The funds raised will go directly toward providing meals to seniors who depend on this vital program to remain independent and healthy in their own homes.\nWe invite you to participate\, sponsor a runner\, create a personal fundraiser\, or make a direct contribution. Every donation large or small makes a meaningful difference.\nTogether\, we can ensure that no senior goes without a warm meal and a friendly visit.

DESCRIPTION:This FREE presentation is open to ADULTS who are interested in learning how to identify and counteract Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to develop resilient kids. \nRegistration is not required. \nFrequent or prolonged exposure to stress can create toxic stress which can damage the developing brain of a child and overall health. A Survival Mode Response to toxic stress increases a child’s heart rate\, blood pressure\, breathing and muscle tension. Their thinking brain is knocked offline. Self-protection is their priority. In other words: “I can’t hear you! I can’t respond to you! I am just trying to be safe!”\nLearn How Resilience Trumps ACEs!
