SUMMARY:All the Lonely People
DESCRIPTION:All the Lonely People examines the global epidemic of loneliness through the eyes of people of all ages\, and offers hope for solutions. \nThe Alaska premier of “All the Lonely People” will include a welcome from film makers Joe Applebaum and Stu Maddux\, and a guest appearance from one of the Alaskans interviewed for the film. Much of the film was shot in Palmer-Wasilla over the past three years as crews followed an LGBTQ couple overcoming isolation that left them homeless. A panel discussion and tasty food follow the movie showing. \nOrganizers hope this will be the start of a statewide community conversation about social isolation and loneliness\, and how to address it\, with plans to show the film throughout Alaska in the future. \nThis is a free event.
