DESCRIPTION:Dirty Cello is a San Francisco based band that performs all over the Bay Area\, all over California\, and all over the world. They feature blues\, rock\, and Americana centered around the cello front woman Rebecca Roudman’s powerful vocals. Their shows are very popular and always fun! \nCome enjoy their lively music while surrounded by grazing musk oxen and Matsu mountains.  \n— Doors open at 6:30pm and music starts flowing at 7:00pm \n— No pets are allowed. \n— The concert will be outside in our backyard area\, you’re welcome to bring lawn chairs\, blankets\, and even a picnic to make yourself comfortable during the concert\, when you’re not dancing that is.  \n— No outside alcoholic beverages permitted.

A Survival Mode Response to toxic stress increases a child’s heart rate\, blood pressure\, breathing\, and muscle tension. Their thinking brain is knocked offline. Self-protection is their priority. In other words: “I can’t hear you! I can’t respond to you! I am just trying to be safe!”\nLearn how resilience trumps ACEs!\nParents\, Teachers\, and Caregivers can help by:\n– Gaining an understanding of ACEs and how they affect children’s social\, emotional\, and cognitive abilities and their connection to a wide range of health problems throughout a person’s lifespan.\n– Creating environments where children feel safe emotionally & physically.\n– Helping children identify feelings & manage emotions\n– Creating a safe physical & emotional environment at home\, in school\, and in neighborhoods.\n– Share ways to build resilience. \nRaising Resilience Presentation:\nThis will include information from a 2019 Johns Hopkins study on the effects of positive childhood experiences.
