We ask that a $20 donation be made to enter your chili and all testers we ask for a minimum donation of $5 to taste and vote on your favorite chili! The best chili winner will receive a $100 prize certificate and of course bragging rights!\nIf you are entering your chili\, please be sure to sign up by emailing marketing@harleyalaska.com. You will also need to bring your chili in a crock pot and have it to temperature. We also ask you bring an extension cord in case you are too far from one of our power spots.

SUMMARY:Teen Rock Climbing w/ Onward & Upward
DESCRIPTION:Reach new heights this summer with our rock climbing course for teens. Packed full of adventure\, this three-day rock climbing course starts from the ground up\, no prior experience is necessary. You’ll learn the essential rock climbing skills such as climbing techniques\, knot tying\, belaying\, communication and rappelling.  \nRock climbing offers a unique blend of physical and mental challenges as each climb presents a unique puzzle to solve\, requiring strategic thinking and problem solving. This is a top rope climbing program. Instructors set up an anchor at the top of the climb and students climb with a rope and a belay partner. Students learn to run safety checks to double check their equipment and climb or rappel under the instructors’ supervision. \nWorking together as a team is essential to rock climbing. As we build trust and a supportive environment we create a strong sense of community\, lasting memories and friendships. \nThis three day course is from 9:00am – 4:30pm each day.
