There will also be a Q + A time afterward. This event is geared toward parents\, pastors\, educators and anyone who works with or raises young adults. \nThe Step Up Now (SUN) program uses the Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) approach instead of Sexual Risk Reduction. SRA seeks to help young individuals eliminate risk as opposed to simply reducing it. Equity and Inclusion\nThis year\, we have adapted to community needs and will host smaller events throughout the Mat-Su Borough. All of the smaller dispersed events will be posted on Facebook and the Connect Mat-Su Event Calendar.\nThe community baby shower(s) are for Mat-Su families who are expecting or have an infant up to one year old. Every year we give away up to 200 gift bags that include approximately $100+ worth of baby essentials to help give the family the best start possible. Registration for gift bags is required.
