Event usually lasts about an hour.\nFree to attend\, no need to register\nPresentation details: For more than a decade\, Mary has led annual all-women ski mountaineering expeditions into Alaska’s remote\, glaciated mountains\, including descents of Mt. Hayes and Mt. Foraker\, first ascents in the Wrangell–St. Elias\, and first-ascent attempts on the Stikine Icefield. Moving through storms\, glaciers\, and high-stakes terrain has reshaped her understanding of strength\, leadership\, and success.\nDrawing on stories from Alaska’s wildest ranges\, this talk explores trust\, shared leadership\, and emotional intelligence in high-consequence environments. These expeditions revealed that kindness is not weakness\, listening is active leadership\, and vulnerability is essential.
