We are a program of Alaska Family Services\, a 501c3 Non-Profit\, and a partner with the Toys 4 Tots program. \nOur goal is to help spread joy and the magic of Christmas by providing families in need with Christmas presents for their children as well as bringing the community together with volunteer opportunities in the workshop and fundraising events. \nWe wish you a very happy Holiday Season!\n -The Elves

DESCRIPTION:Mat-Su Celebrates Afterschool Programs November 8\nLights On Afterschool to Feature Teen and Parent Panels\, Community Partners and More \nMat-Su – On Saturday\, November 8\, Youth 360 will join the 26th annual Lights On Afterschool celebration\, a nationwide series of more than 8\,000 events for afterschool organized by the Afterschool Alliance that is expected to reach over a million people. \nThe Lights On Afterschool event\, to be held at the Teeland Middle School\, will feature panels on teen education\, teen safety\, vaping and the power of afterschool activities. The day will conclude with insightful panels from teens and parents. \nWhat: Youth 360 Lights On Afterschool Event. Parents can take part in workshops while youth grades K-12 enjoy games and activities hosted by Thrive Mat-Su. DESCRIPTION:The Mat-Su Holiday Marketplace\, sponsored by Lotto Alaska\, takes place at the Menard Sports Center and gives the area an opportunity to shop for unique and one-of-a-kind gifts right in their neighborhood without that long commute to Anchorage.\nArtists and craftsmen will fill over 100 mini specialty shops with literally thousands of holiday gift ideas. Jewelry\, original artwork\, clothing\, home decor\, tasty treats… You’ll find unique items from all around the state. No need to waste a tank of gas looking for the perfect gift! Make Santa proud this year and get all of your holiday shopping done in one warm location with lots of EASY FREE parking at the Mat-Su Holiday Marketplace. This event is co-sponsored by Lotto Alaska.\nAdmission is $5 for adults\, kids 12 and under are free\, and Sunday is free for Military with ID or anyone who brings 2 cans of food for a local food bank.
